Finn Church Aid Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: FCA is seeking an Education Adviser for the South Sudan country programme. The Education Adviser will provide technical expertise to the strategic planning of Right to Quality Education programming in FCA’s South Sudan Country Office. The Jobholder will also be primarily responsible for the implementation of EU funded TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) project, a multi-year Resilience Programme funded by ECW and Teacher Education project in South Sudan (TESS) funded by Finnish MFA. Qualified and interested candidates irrespective of age, gender, race, religion or ethnic affiliation are encouraged to apply for the vacancy.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Social/political sciences, educational sciences and other relevant field of studies;
Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in education project management and sector development at a strategic level.
- Proven experience and capacity of managing vocational training and teacher training projects;
- Proven experience of budget management as a budget holder
- Knowledge of conflict sensitive environment, in addition to understanding ethno-political conflicts;
- Understanding of diverse cultural/ethnic context of South Sudan, most importantly cultural sensitivity;
- Experience with data collection, management, analysis and report production;
- Strategic thinker and good context analysis skills;
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office package;
- Strong English writing skills to prepare reports, promotional materials and oral presentations.
