IOM Job Vacancy 2021
Under the direct supervision of the ECRP Programme Coordinator in Juba and, in collaboration with the Community Engagement Specialists and the Programme Advisor, the research consultant will be responsible and accountable for analysing and compiling a County Functionality Assessment, as well as compiling a comprehensive analysis of various research to create County Profiles and provide a targeted approach for the ECRP project.
Eligibility criteria:
- Knowledge of and experience in South Sudan
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in conducting research in humanitarian and development contexts
- Experience in using various research (qualitative and quantitative) methodologies, including ability to organize and quickly digest and analyze a diverse range of information and data collected from varied sources
- Demonstrated ability to review and synthesize data and evidence;
- Experience communicating and engaging with stakeholders and high-level experts from different backgrounds;
- Demonstrated experience in supporting publications and working in an environment that generates research;
- Experience in development-principled programming in crisis contexts, including reintegration of conflict-affected populations, local governance; recovery processes; government-citizen engagement and dialogue; strong knowledge of peace, security and development frameworks
- Experience in the application of conflict analysis frameworks
