OHCHR Job Vacancy 2022
Org. Setting and Reporting: This temporary position is located in the Field Operations and Technical Cooperation Division (FOTCD) in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Juba. The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Coordinator of the Secretariat of the Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan (CHRSS).
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in communication, journalism, international relations, public administration or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in public information, journalism, international relations, public administration or related area is required.
- Experience in providing media advice to an intergovernmental or expert body is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English, (both oral and written) is required.
