SFCG Job Vacancy 2022
Position Summary: The job holder would assist Radio Producer with the production of radio programs that includes PSAs, Jingles, Promos, and Radio drama/program packaging. S/he would build the capacity/carry out training of journalists from partner radio stations to produce radio programs independently. S/he would ensure monitoring of broadcast schedules and maintain all aspects of reporting on the components of media activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Media Studies/Mass Communication or a related field from a recognized institution
- At least two (2) years of journalism or radio production experience in South Sudan
- Strong mastery of radio editing programs such as Cool Edit Pro, Pro Tools and Adobe Audition
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as social media platforms
- Strong and proven ability in report writing, in English
- Demonstrates precise attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- High level of interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and advise stakeholders
- Demonstrated interpersonal and cross-cultural skills including the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally with sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, social and political issues
- Aware of the legal and ethical considerations surrounding the release of information to the press and public, especially when sensitive or contentious issues are involved
- Demonstrates current knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations, and associated procedures, including Copyright, Data Protection, Public Liability, etc. and how to comply with regulatory requirements as they relate to the country’s broadcast environment.
