Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Master’s degree in Economics, International Trade, Trade Law or related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields with two additional qualifying years of experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced degree
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years (Master’s degree) or 7 years (Bachelor’s degree) of work experience in Trade Policy formulation and implementation;
- Project/ Programme management experience including the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of trade related programmes;
- Relevant experience in trade policy development, implementation and strong knowledge of trade policy issues, policy formulation and analysis;
- Knowledge of development projects and programmes especially programmes financed by international development partners;
- Previous work experience in post conflict environment;
- Possess understanding of the unique situation in trade policy constraints in South Sudan;
- Ability to work under pressure and good team work skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Language(s) (at working level):
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
