UNDP Job Vacancy 2021
Purpose of the consultancy: The aim of the mapping exercise is to assess the capacity of women led organizations (WLOs) as well as development of a strategy to strengthen the institutional capacity of (WLOs) to improve their management and service delivery to support women and girls, especially in humanitarian action.
Eligibility criteria:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, gender studies, human rights, international development, or other relevant social science fields.
Experience:
- At least five (5) years of experience in gender programming, gender analyses and implementation of normative standards on gender equality and empowerment of women at the national level;
- Proven experience of writing research reports, gender analyses and position papers;
- Proven experience of researching National NGOs including women organizations, women’s rights; issues, gender-based violence and related issues.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required;
- Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
