UNICEF Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose of Activity/Assignment: Under the overall and direct supervision of Security Manager, UNICEF, South Sudan the successful candidate will support UNICEF South Sudan on conflict analysis to support evidence-based response planning and drive the development of strategy, innovation and multi-sectoral programmes and projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying a methodology to mainstream and institutionalize conflict sensitivity across UNICEF South Sudan in order to improve programme quality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Anthropology, Sociology, Geography or other relevant field
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in research and analysis
- Experience working on the integration of conflict sensitivity in humanitarian and development programming
- Experience working in complex humanitarian emergencies and applying analysis to problem solving in difficult humanitarian responses
- Experience in South Sudan
- GIS mapping skills desirable
