UNICEF Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose of Activity/Assignment: The Health Finance and Reporting Consultant, reports to the Project Manager for guidance and general supervision. He/ She supports the preparation of the health reports (Programmatic and Financial) to ensure quality and alignment with donor reporting and provide timeliness with reporting commitments, capturing programme progress of a sector of the health programme (under Child Health Output) within the country programme. The provides technical support to the project management in delivering apt proposal, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
Eligibility Criteria
- Advance University degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
- A minimum of 7 or more years of relevant professional experience in management, coordination and technical expertise, preferably with a track record of successful Infectious disease program management.
- Experience with Grant Management, reporting and analysis (Experience with ECHO, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)(FCDO), Global fund implementation or Local fund agent is an asset).
- Experience working in the region is an asset.
- Diplomacy, conflict management, flexibility, understanding of local cultural and social practices are key success factors for this consultancy.
