UNICEF Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose of Activity/Assignment: The purpose of the role is to support the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to develop resource mobilization tools which will facilitate the support for Malaria programming in South Sudan. The Global Fund has been the largest donor supporting the implementation of the Malaria Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025 with technical support provided by USAID and Roll Back Malaria Partnership.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, management, family health, health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
- A minimum of 8 or more years of relevant professional experience in resource mobilization, public health coordination and technical expertise in fund raising, preferably with a track record of successful grant acquisition. Experience in health program/project development in UN system agency or organization is an asset.
- Experience working in similar context
- Knowledge of the duty station is considered as an asset for this consultancy
- Diplomacy, conflict management, flexibility, understanding of local cultural and social practices are key success factors for this consultancy.
