UNMISS Job Vacancy 2023
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the Warehouse and Commodity Management Section of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Juba. The Supply Assistant will report to the Warehouse Supervisor or his/her designated official.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Job – Specific Qualification:
- Having a valid private driving license and proven ability to drive 4X4 manual gear vehicles is desirable. (Attach copy of your Driving License)
- Relevant training in software applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel are desirable.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in inventory and supply management, property management, logistics, procurement, warehousing, administrative services, or related area is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to three (3) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher.
- Experience in inventory management, in managing a database of expendable and nonexpendable assets is desirable.
- Knowledge of Umoja/SAP database is desirable.
Languages:
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
