WFP Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: We are seeking a Data Analyst to be based in our Country office in Juba to help analyze beneficiary and transfer data with the aim of meaningfully improving the efficiency of operations through improved data analysis. The Data Analyst will be a person who can look at a landscape of data and provide KPIs and real time analysis that directly inputs into operational decisions. The understanding and utilization of the SCOPE system, cash based transfer processes and how WFP carries out distributions is fundamental to this, as well as the ability to form partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: Advanced University degree in Engineering, computer sciences, economics, statistics or related areas, or a first university degree supplemented by additional years of relevant work experience
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably in international organisations or development agencies or carrying out financial risk analysis
- Language: Fluency in English language required. Intermediate knowledge of a second official UN language desired (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish)
