WFP Job Vacancy 2023
Job Purpose: The Engineer will be based in the WFP Country Office in Juba. When necessary, she/ he will be required to undertake field missions to conduct engineering assessments and oversee implementation of ongoing construction activities as required.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Advanced University degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline, or First University degree with additional years or experience and/or advanced training/courses. Accreditation to “Professional Engineer” or “Chartered Engineer” status, or recognized equivalent by an appropriate national or international regulatory authority.
Experience:
- Managing large scale projects, construction supervision and quality assurance, able to work in remote locations with limited infrastructure. Minimum 6 years’ postgraduate experience.
Language:
- Fluency in oral & written English & Arabic is desirable
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of WFP Engineering, Administration and Procurement rules and regulations. Strong interpersonal skills able to manage teams.
