WFP Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: Effective food commodity and non-food items (NFI) management, tracking upstream nutrition commodity pipeline, tracking funding status, tracking and facilitating quantity and quality of food commodities and NFIs delivered to the Field Offices and partners.
Eligibility criteria
- Education: Advanced University degree in Transport Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management or other related field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years or above of relevant professional experience. Experience in preparing and managing transport. Proven ability to provide analytical support and recommendations for operational optimization. Experience commodity and warehouse management. Experience working with corporate systems (database and software).
- Desirable Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of humanitarian or commercial supply chain sector. Strong organizational, coordination skills and transfer of knowledge. Strong communication and reporting skills. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to team work. Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
