WHO Job Vacancy 2022
Background: The data clerk will work closely with the data manager for the VPD surveillance to enter all data required for VPD surveillance and provide support to VPD /polio surveillance team through accurate management and entry of information on VPD. The data clerk will ensure sustainability of the work through supervision by the data MANGER including adequate training and orientation on the WHO software used in VPD surveillance. Will be directly supervised by the data manager.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Essential: Completion of secondary education supplemented by training and/or experience in Biostatistics, Statistics, IT, Computer Science, Demography or other related field
- Desirable: University Degree/Diploma in Health Information Systems, Biostatistics, Statistics, IT, Computer Science, Demography or other related field
Experience:
- Essential: At least 3 years of practical experience in administrative/clerical data processing and management
- Desirable: Working experience in the UN system or any non-governmental international humanitarian organization
Knowledge and Skills:
- Computer literate with good knowledge of; Epinfo, Microsoft office suit, open data kit, DHIS2 and other Web based applications/ information systems
