WFP Job Vacancy 2021

Job Purpose: The position plays a co-lead role in driving attitudinal change, drawing attention to new issues and affecting the awareness, attitudes or perceptions of key stakeholders. This function will lead the AO’s coordination of monitoring activities, managing or supporting the management of feasibility and other programmatic studies, supporting thematic/mid-term reviews and positioning WFP as a reliable partner for governments to build monitoring and evaluation strategies.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced University degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Studies, Economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of professional practice in results-based management, monitoring, evaluation, analysis and research
  • Sound knowledge, ability and practice in guiding the management teams to draw causal connections between policy priorities, the resourcing of policy objectives, the programmes designed to implement them, the outputs achieved, and their impact on communities.
  • Sound research experience using variety of analytical tools and methods for causality analysis, forecasting, and other data modeling needs.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills
  • Proven experience in participatory approaches with the community, local government and stakeholders
  • Membership in a National or International Professional Evaluations or Research body or association.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in one of the main languages of Northern Uganda
