UNOPS Job Vacancy 2021
The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) established a regional support office, the Entebbe Support Office (ESO) in November of 2016. This office provides regional support to UNMAS programmes based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and the Abyei Administrative Area. The areas of support include Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Human Resources, Finance and Contracts Management.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Advanced Degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) combined with five (5) years of relevant experience OR
- A First-Level University Degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) combined with seven (7) years of relevant experience is required.
Work Experience:
- Relevant experience is defined as experience in procurement, contracts management, supply chain, business administration or legal.
- Demonstrated professional experience at the international level or in combination with experience at the national level, in advising on, implementing procurement projects or on contracts management is desired.
- Demonstrated experience in working and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is desired.
- Chartered Institute of Supply and Management (CIPS) or similar international Certification is desired.
Language:
- Fluency in English (Reading, Writing and Speaking) is required.
- Knowledge of French (Reading, Writing and Speaking) is desired.
- Knowledge of another UN language is desired.
