UNOPS Job Vacancy 2021
The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) established a regional support office, the Entebbe Support Office (ESO) in November of 2016. This office provides regional support to UNMAS programmes based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and the Abyei Administrative Area. The areas of support include Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Human Resources, Finance and Contracts Management.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- First Level degree (Bachelor or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Secondary school (a High school or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Work Experience:
- Relevant experience is defined as experience in providing logistics or assets management services in national and/or international public or corporate organizations.
- Experience in working with a range of stakeholders in developing countries is desired.
- Proficiency in computers and office software packages (MS Office; G-suite) and experience in handling web-based management systems is desired.
Language:
- Fluency in English, (Speaking, Writing & Reading)
- Knowledge of another official UNOPS language is an asset
