FINCA Uganda is part of the FINCA Impact Finance Network, a group of 20 microfinance and financial institutions that provides socially responsible financial services and enables low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners to invest in the future.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Designing and overseeing all aspects of digital marketing i.e the marketing database, email and display of advertising campaigns
  • Managing FINCA Uganda’s website
  • Managing online digital lead generations
  • Planning and managing FINCA Uganda’s Social Media Platforms
  • Developing integrating and manage bank Chatbots
  • Developing and managing online strategic partnerships
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Optimizing content for the website and social networking channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc
  • Tracking the website traffic flow and providing internal reports regularly
  • Attending networking events and product launches.
  • Identifying new digital marketing trends and ensuring that the brand is in front of the industry developments.
  • Working on SEO of the website pages.
  • Editing and posting videos, podcasts, and audio contents on online sites.
  • Promoting company’s product and services in the digital space.
  • Executing social media efforts to improve KPIs, likes, shares, tweets, etc.
  • Creating and executing SMS, and email-based marketing campaigns.

Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration and proven experience in digital marketing.
  • 2 year’s work experience in a similar role within a Financial/Banking sector

  • Excellent communication and presentations skills.
  • High level of numeracy, analytical and statistical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Good multitasking capabilities and a team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
  • Familiarity in applying different methods of research to obtain accurate data.
  • Understanding the changing marketing trends online and offline
