RSCE Job Vacancy 2021
Org. Setting and Reporting: The Department of Operational Support (DOS) was established to provide end-to-end operational support, advisory services and other solutions to operating entities across the Secretariat, including departments, offices away from headquarters, peace operations, and regional commissions.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in workforce learning and development, capacity building and knowledge transfer, or a related area is required
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the design and practical delivery of formal training sessions and programmes is required.
- Experience working in a multicultural and/or international work environment and a field mission or post-conflict environment outside of your home country is also required.
- Experience working in a United Nations common system field operation (inclusive of peacekeeping, political missions and UN agencies, funds and programmes)- or similar international organization or non-governmental organization – in a conflict or post-conflict setting is desirable.
- Experience with financial management or accounting in an international setting is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of French is desirable.
