Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Social Sciences or related field.
- A first-level university degree with additional 2 years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years (with Master degree) of 4 years (with Bachelor degree) of relevant work experience in project management in a reputable institution;
- Experience using project management methodologies and tools;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.);
- High level planning, organizational and time management skills, including flexibility, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Excellent organizational and technical skills;
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills;
- Development and operational efficiency;
- Experience with a UN organization/agency is desirable; along with knowledge of UNCDF/UNDP and the UN system and / or the donor community;
- Partnership and networking: Ability to build the relations and to develop a network of relevant external contacts, as well as internally across different teams.
Language:
- Fluency in oral and written English.
