WFP Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: To support receipt/dispatch and verification of commodities in order to maximise quality of warehouse operations and mitigate losses, and to support the best storage management practices in compliance with WFP warehouse guidelines and standards.
Standard Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Transport, Supplies Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering or other related field from a recognized university.
- Language: Fluency (level C) in the UN language in use at the duty station and in the duty station’s language, if different.
Other Specific Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in logistics in fast paced environment is desirable. This includes maintaining a logistics database; running queries on ongoing shipments, pipeline information, insurance claims, inventory management, service provider contracts administration and execution; compilation of contract documentation and budget monitoring & reporting etc.
