ICGEB Job Vacancy 2021

DUTIES:

Will assist the Project Manager in performing the following tasks:

  • Overseeing all operational matters of the project.
  • Reporting on deliberations of all project meetings and following up on the implementation of the key deliverables.
  • Organising and participating in all project workshops and capacity building programmes and preparing a report of the events.
  • Timely compilation and submission of project progress reports.
  • Monitoring project implementation and adoption action plan to ensure key milestones are met.
  • Ensuring application of a stakeholder knowledge management strategy.
  • Ensuring all key stakeholders are kept regularly apprised of the project progress as well as any emerging issues.
  • Ensuring that project implementation remains responsive to country and regional needs.
  • Writing of grant proposals for co-funding to support the various elements of the project.
  • Any other related tasks that would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project implementation.

Eligibility criteria:

  • QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Agricultural Sciences or Environmental Law or a related field and/or at least two years of experience in the field of pesticide/biopesticide regulation.
