Role Summary: The Regional HR Lead, Africa provides HR leadership across the continent (specifically in our country offices in South Africa, Ethiopia & Nigeria) to ensure that the foundation has the right talent, culture, structure and HR process to deliver on our mission. To that end this role will partner with the Director, HRBP Programs & International Governance, Director, Africa Director and leadership team to translate business strategies and priorities into people and organization strategies and priorities for the regional portfolio. Specifically, as a trusted partner the Regional HR Lead will partner with the Africa Director to build a strong cohesive leadership team through leadership development, team effectiveness and culture to advance the Africa strategy and build an environment focused on our three foundation priorities: Impact First, High Integrity Culture, and One Global Foundation. Additionally, the Regional HR Lead is responsible for ensuring the adherence to and usage of all HR policies, practices and standards across the Africa team.
Eligibility criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or Organizational Psychology; or Master’s degree or PhD in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Psychology is preferred.
- 7+ years experience working in a global organization with Africa regional leadership experience.
