FQM Job Vacancy 2021
Purpose of the Role: This role forms part of a team of infrastructure engineers that oversee and provide critical (L3 and L4) support to data centres across the African region. The incumbent shall form part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
Eligibility criteria:
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
Experience & Skills Required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing high availability systems, databases and networks.
- Must have experience in set-up/support of MS Hyper V Cluster environments
- Broad generalist knowledge of current, certified Information Technology standards, operating systems, and implications of emerging technology trends.
- Broad understanding of IT operational related technologies such as virtualisation, storage, backups, cloud, database and Converged Architecture.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- MS SCCM experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in Cisco technologies would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of in Cloud Technologies (Azure) would be advantageous.
