Plan International Job Vacancy 2021

Objective of the Position: The National Accountant is responsible for providing timely and reliable financial information and analysis that leads to effective decision making. He/ she serves as an advisor on matters relating to finance. He/ she ensures that the policies and procedures of Plan International are applied in the finance department.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • University degree (BAC + 3) in Accounting Sciences or equivalent in work experience (CPA or equivalent);
  • Five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a managerial position;
  • 3 years minimum in the supervision of staff;
  • Strong Knowledge in Financial Management;
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Great Plain).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, Spanish an asset;
  • Familiarity with the Haitian Tax Code;
  • Ability to work with complexity;
  • Ability to work under pressure and outside the regular work schedule;
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions and sense of leadership;
  • Excellent skills in teamwork;
  • Coaching and mentoring skills;
  • Know how to plan and organize;
  • Respect of deadlines;
  • Integral and transparent in all its actions;
  • Ability to influence and persuade;
  • Good judgmental spirit;
  • Efficient interpersonal relationship;
  • Be seen as a source of expertise in matters of children’s rights and development at the local level;
