UNFPA Job Vacancy 2021
Purpose: The South African Revenue Services (SARS) requires that UN Agencies physically submit supporting documents including copies of invoices, proof of payment and copies of contracts where applicable with all the VAT claims. ESARO has not been able to submit VAT claims from February 2020 to date because of the remote working modality. The ROSSC has been supporting other countries in the region with procurement of PPE in South Africa and this has led to significant accumulation of the VAT Account. SARS accept invoices that are less than 5 years old; hence it is imperative for the RO to submit all outstanding invoices timely.
Eligibility criteria:
The following competencies and qualifications are required:
- Completion of High School Education;
- At least 1 year of finance and/or administration experience;
- Under graduate education is an advantage;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Computer literacy in MS Office applications;
- Good communication skills.
Languages:
- Fluency in oral and written English.
Functional Skill Set:
- Organising documents, correspondence and reports
- Planning, organizing and multi-tasking.
