ILO Job Vacancy 2021
Reporting lines: Under the overall responsibility and supervision of the Director ILO Country office for South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini, as well as the guidance of the ILO Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) in Polokwane, the incumbent of the position will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the infrastructure, Environment & Culture and Social Sector components of the Expanded Public works programme (EPWP) in Limpopo province.
Eligibility criteria
- Education: First level university degree (Bachelor’s or Equivalent) in Economics, environmental economics/ engineering or other related fields. A Qualification in natural resources management, climate change, or related disciplines with expertise in social analysis will be added advantage
- Experience: Minimum of three years of professional experience in Infrastructure, building construction sub-sector, environmental sector, economic and social development planning or related areas. Experience in the EPWP and in particular in implementing programmes within Limpopo EPWP will be an asset.
- Languages: Excellent command of English is required and the ability to speak at least one of the local languages is considered an asset.
