Role Overview: The Country Modelling and transformation advisor supports the Regional Director and the Transformation Lead in the management of change processes in countries. The role will specifically support the advancement of the Country Models Review (CMR) Transformation project, with structured project management and change management approach that aims to ensure that the delivery of the new country models will result in sustainable changes in the federation. The role holder will also be a link between the various stakeholders in the implementation process.
Eligibility Criteria
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in project management, business management, or related field
Essential Experience:
- Experience of project management standards and holding project management teams accountable to those standards
- Demonstrated experience in providing strategic support to country management teams.
- Demonstrated experience working with global stakeholders across different levels of the organisation from a broad range of contexts and functional areas.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of change or transfomations and quick turnaround times, whilst delivering to the highest standards.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing organisational reporting and performance, analysing data, while evaluating trends, compliance and gaps in performance.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Knowledge of/and or experience of the Not For Profit, NGO and/or Development sectors.
Essential skills:
- Commitment to AcionAid’s vision, mission values and way of working
- Ability to manage relationships and influence at all levels
- Strong analytical skills; with attention to details.
- Self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to develop documents and communication materials (presentations, power points, manuals, internal communications, etc.)
- Ability to accommodate considerable travel demands
- Ability to hold teams accountable to deliver on their responsibilities – giving them the freedom to deliver in the best way they see fit, providing the necessary capacity to improve performance, including documentation and communication on agreed performance areas.
Language requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Other languages spoken in countries where ActionAid International is present will be advantageous.
