IWMI Job Vacancy 2022
Description: The Project Coordinator is responsible for performing a coordinating role in the two projects: Ukama Ustawi (UU) and Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA) Zambia. The Project Coordinator will ensure an enabling environment among the project team, implementation partners, and key stakeholders for timely delivery of the project outputs. In addition, the Project Coordinator will strengthen IWMI’s capacity to implement the UU and AICCRA Zambia projects and other R4D projects in Southern Africa.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications:
- A postgraduate university degree in the field of environmental science, climate change, policy or other scientific disciplines relevant to water resources for multi-sectors.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Between 6-8 years of work experience, including at least 4 years of demonstrated experience in project coordination and management processes with international organizations or other development partners
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, particularly when preparing correspondence and briefings.
- Demonstrated familiarity with social media and the ability to use such media to promote inter-office communications and information sharing.
