UNDP Job Vacancy 2021
Background: In Pretoria South Africa (SA) UN Security Management System have one fully operational 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) in support of the DO/SMT SA. The office offers communications support to UN operations in the Gauteng region and throughout South Africa and the region when required, regular liaison and close contact between UNDSS and local law enforcement, police and security officials and has further supported the UN and its partners’ ability to conduct their operations in a secured environment.
Eligibility criteria:
Education:
- Secondary education
Experience:
- 3 years of relevant work experience in Security or Information Technology
- Ability to work with computer and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of national language of the duty station desirable
