United Nations Secretariat Job Vacancy 2022
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Pretoria, which serves South Africa, within the Information Centres Service (ICS), Strategic Communications Division (SCD), Department of Global Communications (DGC).
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of five years of experience in social media, public information, public relations, or related field is required.
- Experience working with social media platforms is required.
- Experience creating content for digital publishing formats and/or platforms, including adapting briefing notes, press releases and speeches for social media and/or websites, is required.
- Experience in digital photography/video is required.
- Experience in graphic design and/or desktop publishing utilising Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design, and/or comparable computer software is desirable.
- Experience in video editing utilizing Adobe Premiere and/or comparable computer software is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
