UNODC Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose of the assignment: The purpose of the assignment is to assist with the implementation of activities to counter Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants in context of the UNODC ROSAF Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants Programme under the broader ambit of the SAMM project. More concretely, the contractor will assist with the coordination and implementation of activities in SADC countries with a specific focus in Portugese speaking countries of SADC (Angola and Mozambique). The contractor will also assist the Head of Programme with programme management activities, including the development of proposals, drafting of various reports and administrative tasks.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience in administration and implementing projects or in research aimed at enhancing the Rule of Law and criminal justice systems is required.
Language:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations. For this post, fluency in oral and written English and Portugese is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations Secretariat language is an advantage
