Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Child Safeguarding Policy.
- Provide technical support, oversight, and engagement in the implementation of the Clean and Safe Drinking
- Water Promotion Project involving the construction and community training and stakeholder engagement in the project.
- Lead and contribute to the identification of critical factors, gaps, and actions necessary for the promotion, protection and respect for stakeholder presence, community, and service user needs.
- Establish and maintain systems for managing project operations.
- Develop detailed implementation plan (DIP), annual and monthly project action plans and ensure the project is delivered according to the plan, and donor/proposal requirements.
- Prepare detailed project budgets and continuous monitoring of expenditures throughout the project period.
- Strategically identify risks and risk mitigation actions to ensure project sustainability and successful project implementation in line with the donor agreement.
- Support capacity building of Project Coordinators, health facility staff, traditional leader, and community-based volunteers for them to effectively coordinate and implement community and household interventions.
