Position Description: The Technical Advisor, Policy and Program will provide technical leadership, assistance, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality implementation of MOSAIC project activities in Zambia. Reporting to the MOSAIC country project director, the Technical Advisor will provide overall technical guidance on country activities and work with project leadership to determine country level priorities in support of introduction and access to HIV biomedical prevention products. S/he will lead product introduction policy and program activities and assist with overall project implementation. S/he will work with project leadership and liaise with technical experts to develop and implement country level workplans and monitor progress against workplans to ensure that project activities are on track. S/he will also be responsible for working with HQ- and other sub-Saharan Africa-based staff to share in-country experiences and identify synergies across the project.

Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Health, Behavioral, Social
- Sciences, International Development or Related Field. Clinical background will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience in implementation of donor funded public health projects, preferably with HIV prevention experience including PrEP, family planning, youth-friendly services, Gender integration and biomedical prevention product introduction in Zambia
- Experience working with Ministries of Health, technical working groups and other coordination bodies is preferred.
- Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government
- agency, or private organization
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with USAID and international donors,
- government counterparts, and project stakeholders
- Experience with USAID and PEPFAR program policies and procedures.
