GGGI Job Vacancy 2022
Duties and Responsibility: The Consultant shall work under the guidance of the SPAR6C project’s focal point at the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment (the Director – Dept. of Green Economy and Climate Change) and under the guidance of GFA, and shall report directly to GFA. The Consultant shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Support the SPAR6C project international partners in the detailed activity planning and implementation in Zambia;
- Serve as the liaison for the SPAR6C project with the Ministry of Green Economy and Climate Change, other relevant government agencies, and public institutions in Zambia;
- Provide organization and coordination support for internal and external meetings with partners, agencies (government, private, development partners, etc.) and organize and manage training workshops, prepare documents, agendas and materials related to meetings and workshops and support the team in preparing minutes of meetings;
- Provide administrative and logistical support to GFA, UNEP-CCC and GGGI comprising inter alia:
- travel arrangement of official missions, including visa requests, travel requests/authorizations,
- goods and service procurements in close collaboration with GFA and GGGI;
- Support the MGEE and the GFA in project implementation including day-to-day project management, project monitoring and evaluation, facilitation of correspondence, telephone calls and appointments, maintenance of an effective filing system to manage all hard and electronic files, reference materials and confidential records as required;
- Establish and conduct regular communication with key climate agencies, public institutions and the private sector on activities of the SPAR6C project;
