GIZ Job Vacancy 2021
Field of activity: The project “Promotion of Participation, Access to Justice and Transparency” works in the areas of strengthening civil society participation and dialogue, access to justice and the fight against corruption. In all fields of activity, the project supports civil society organizations as well as state institutions and promotes the implementation of reform processes. In addition, a diverse landscape of actors improves access to justice for poor and marginalized population groups. This is also achieved using digital approaches.
Your tasks:
- Support in monitoring and reporting
- Research activities on the technical topics of the program and processing of data and information
- Support in the organization of events, planning workshops, internal team processes, etc.
- Support in communication with and the integration of new partner organizations, e.g. anti-corruption and human rights commission – preparation of communication material
- Support of the consultants in the preparation and implementation of trainings and workshops for and with Zambian partner organizations.
Your Profile:
- From the 3rd semester onwards, you will study in the fields of political science or related subjects
- Technical knowledge on the topics of participation of civil society in governance processes, human rights, as well as anti-corruption mechanisms and the promotion of transparency
- Excellent communication skills and sensitivity for working in intercultural teams
- Ability to express complex and technical issues both in writing and orally in clear and simple language
- Fluent German and English skills
- Ability to organize your own work area independently and reliably
- Experience abroad or in an international context, preferably with references to Sub-Saharan Africa
