GIZ Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: The “Promotion of Participation, Access to Law and Transparency” project will begin in August 2021. The project conceptually continues what was started in the previous phase. Successes have been achieved in particular in the areas of strengthening civil society participation and dialogue as well as access to justice. As part of the new phase, a new focus will be created in the area of anti-corruption and strengthening transparency, as well as the use of digital approaches to improve access to justice.
Specifically, it involves the following tasks:
- Support in the organization of kick-off events, planning workshops, internal team processes, etc. at the beginning of the new phase
- Support in communication with and the integration of new partner organizations, e.g. anti-corruption and human rights commission
- Creation of communication material for the new project
- Support in setting up the monitoring system
- Support of the consultants in the content preparation and implementation of trainings and workshops for and with Zambian partner organizations
- Research activities on the technical topics of the program and preparation of data and information
Qualification:
- From the 3rd semester onwards, you will study in the fields of political science or related subjects
- Technical knowledge on the topics of participation of civil society in governance processes, human rights, as well as anti-corruption mechanisms and the promotion of transparency
- Excellent communication skills and sensitivity for working in intercultural teams
- Ability to express complex and technical issues both in writing and orally in clear and simple language
- Fluent German and English skills
- Ability to organize your own work area independently and reliably
- Experience abroad or in an international context, preferably with references to Sub-Saharan Africa
