IWMI Job Vacancy 2023

Objective of the Assignment: The specific objectives of the assignment are:

  • Establish (institutionalize and structure) a Multi Stakeholder Platform for the aquatic food systems for the Kafue flats;
  • Engage and ensure that all the key stakeholders are part of the Multi-Stakeholder Platform for the area, which will enhance stakeholder engagement and participation in creating resilient aquatic food systems in the landscape,
  • Invite MSP members and organize and facilitate the MSP meetings and workshops;
  • Ensure that the MSP activities are linked with relevant local, sub-national and national goals, priorities and events;
  • Coordinate and lead the documentation processes for the MSP meetings; and
  • Any other roles for the effective engagement of stakeholders for the aquatic food systems.

Qualification & Experience:

  • At least an MSc in fisheries/aquaculture, water, gender studies, sociology, rural sociology, anthropology, development studies, economics, agricultural economics, geography, public policy, institutions/governance or another closely related field.
  • Minimum One Years Experience.
