Duties and Responsibilities: The Consultant will work under the overall guidance Director and in close coordination with, and under the direct supervision of the technical focal point officer to prepare for, organize and facilitate the Retreat, and produce all associated deliverables.

Qualification:
- Academic Qualifications: An Advanced University Degree in Public Administration, Economics, Business, Public Finance, or related field is required.
- Experience: A Minimum of 10 Years Experience in strategic planning, coaching and development, preferably in an international environment is required.
- Extensive experience in designing and facilitating retreats of a high-level team on complex issues of the UN Reforms and UN Development Frameworks especially for senior leaders in international development organisations.
- Extensive experience in guiding senior leaders in undertaking transformative organisational change.
- Demonstrated skills in building consensus among multiple partners around complex and sensitive issues, and in identifying innovative solutions to complex and systemic challenges;
- Excellent English language skills;
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills Substantive knowledge of international development issues, UN Reforms, Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, the UN Development System and the UN Delivering as One approach.
- Material and processes related to preparations for, organization and facilitation of the retreat to be agreed with the technical focal point/organizing team of the Unit.
- Concise high-level report of the retreat, summarising the process, discussions and decisions taken, as well as providing expert recommendations on a way forward.
- Language: English and French are the working language’s of the UN. For this post ,fluency in English is required.
