About the Position: The Driver will provide assistance and support to the team by providing driving services at the office and project stations across the country. The successful candidate has key responsibilities in the following areas:
- Ensure maintenance, safety, mileage log and management for Lusaka office vehicle/s stationed in Lusaka or on duty assignment.
- Providing driving service to WorldFish projects and general office operations according to official assignments.
- Keeping WorldFish vehicles clean, well maintained, timely serviced and repaired.
- Compiling logbooks and generating fuel analysis reports.
- Ensure safety of passengers and vehicles at all times.
- Keep records of all vehicles and other equipment assigned to you and plan for regular fuelling, maintenance and service.
Qualification & Experience:
- At least a secondary school certificate.
- Certificate in Vehicle maintenance or Mechanics.
- At least five years’ experience as a driver in an International Organization working.
- Valid Driver’s License for at least 3 years.
- Excellent spoken and written in English.
- Experience of fleet management.
- Experience of extensive up-country travel and interaction with local authorities and communities.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.
