UNV Job Vacancy 2021
Description of task: Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Finance Analyst or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Finance Associate will executeh the below summary of Key Functions:
- Implementation of operational and financial management strategies
- Ensures effective financial resources management and oversight.
- Accounting and administrative support
- Asset oversight and management
- Knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Position in Organization:
- Host entity: UNDP
- Country: Zimbabwe
- Location, Country: Harare (ZWE)
- Language skills: English
- Expected Starting Date: Immediate
- Duration: 12 months with possiblity of extension

- Language skills: English(Mandatory), Level – Fluent
Qualification:
- Specialized certification in Accounting and Finance.
- University Degree in Finance, Business or Public Administration desirable, but it is not a requirement.
- Part-qualified accountants from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy will have a distinct advantage.
Experience
- 2 years of relevant finance experience at the national or international level is required.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems.
- Experience with ERP financials, preferably PeopleSoft (ATLAS), desirable.
- Experience with capacity assessments and strengthening desirable.
