WHO Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose of the Consultancy: Under the overall leadership and direct supervision of the WHO Representative in Zimbabwe, the incumbent will lead the development of Zimbabwe’s NTD Master Plan in line with “Ending the neglect to attain the Sustainable Development Goals: a road map for neglected tropical diseases 2021–2030” and the Zimbabwe National Development Strategy (NDS1) as well as the National Health Strategy 2021-2025.
Expected Assigned Duties/Work to be Performed:
- Develop a plan for the development of NTD master plan
- Guide stakeholder conversations in the review of the last master plan and development of new master plan.
- Package the final draft of the master plan and share with stakeholders for further inputs
- Finalise the master plan and prepare it for printing
- The Officer will also perform any other activities assigned by the WR.
Qualification:
- University Degree in any Health-related field, Public Health or Social Sciences
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional practical experience in diseases control programmes at provincial or national levels with a good understanding NTDs control and elimination
