UNEP Job Vacancy 2022
Duties and Responsibilities:
The individual contractor is expected to work closely with UNEP staff to:
- Support recruitment processes for staff based in the Programme Management Unit in Pacific GCF Project and Task Manager for the Climate Services & Capacity Building (CSCB) Unit.
- Provide support with regard to the other Administrative work of the CSCB Unit.
- Review cash advance requests, budget revisions and expenditure reports relating to GEF projects.
- Assist in closing projects and prepare for Terminal Evaluations.
- Record expenditures on Umoja and initiate processes on cash advances.
- Final reconciliation of accounts to complete financial closures.
- Maintain updated files and archives as required.
- Prepare project completion and closing revisions including all supporting documents.
- Manage consultancy contracts for consultants working on GEF and GCF projects and ensuring payments are made on deliverable basis;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
