The FAO has published a job vacancy announcement on 01st September 2022 for qualified South Sudan’s to fill in the vacant post of Operations Specialist to be based in Juba, South Sudan.

Organizational Setting: The main aim of the FAO country offices, which are headed by an FAO representatives, is to assistant governments to develop policies, programmes and projects to achieve food security and to reduce hunger and malnutrition, to help develop the agricultural, fisheries and forestry sectors and to use their environmental and natural resources in a sustainable manner.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Advanced university degree in public or business administration, finance, accounting, economics, social sciences or other fields related to the FAO mandate;
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in project management/operations and support;
• Working knowledge of English (Level C) and limited knowledge (level B) of a second FAO language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or Russian) for COF. For PSA, only working knowledge of English is required.
