UNMISS Job Vacancy 2024
Org. Setting and Reporting: This position is located in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, with duty station Juba. Juba is classified in the “E” category and as a non-family duty station. The incumbent will directly report to UNMISS Engineering’s Juba Field Office Unit.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Job – Specific Qualification:
- Technical or vocational certificate in Water Resources, Water sample analysis, installation, operation, and maintenance of the water equipment is required.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of six (06) years of relevant experience in the field of Water and Sanitation and/or plumbing works is required. Experience in international operations in a post conflict environment is desirable.
Languages:
- French and English are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this post, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
