FIDA Job Vacancy 2023
Purpose:
- The Legal Officer is responsible to oversee the overall implementation of all project activities in the designated district. Specifically, ensuring client’s support needs are identified and addressed with a gender lens through direct support (litigation, ADR, follow up) or referrals; create and strengthen strategic partnerships to advance FIDA-Uganda’s work within the districts of operation; Negotiate, draft or review contracts and agreements on behalf of the organization; Monitor and record strategic interventions; develop periodic reports, among others.
Position in Organization:
- Name Of Post = Legal Officer
- Location = The Secretariat Office: Robert Mugabe Road off Chwa 11, Mbuya, Kampala – Uganda.
Qualification:
- Honours Degree in Law from a recognized University;
- Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre;
- Enrolled Advocate with valid Practicing Certificate;
- Diploma in project planning and management is an added advantage;
- At least one (1) year experience working with Civil Society Organizations.
- Negotiation, mediation, conciliation and arbitration, trial advocacy skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, writing and presentation skills, among others
