AFENET Job Vacancy 2023
Duties and Responsibilities: Work with Ethiopia Federal Ministry of Health MCNH Directorate, Ethiopia Public Health Institute VPD Team and other stakeholders to:
- Support the MOH EPI team in planning, implementing, and M&E of measles vaccination to improve coverage particularly to improve MCV2 coverage
- Support the country in conducting a high-quality Measles campaign; support the central coordination of the planning and preparation for the Measles SIAs.
- Promote and support the regular use of the various tools and method to support the use of data for improvement in routine immunization including measles and to assure highquality SIAs and the routine Measles Vaccination
- Collaborate with the various immunization technical working groups (logistics, demand and communication, and monitoring and evaluation) high-quality to produce updates on the measles immunization status actively participate in conducting independent monitoring for measles SIA with relevant stakeholders under the guidance of the ministry
- Participate in the coordination meetings for planning and implementation of the SIA and the routine immunization programs
- Assist in the compilation of the administrative and technical report for the SIA
- Working with partners to develop and implement a campaign post-campaign coverage
- Survey and RCM and other national Immunization coverage
- Document and analyze AEFI cases during the campaign for decision making
- Supports the acquisition, management and analysis of data from multiple sources, data triangulation, measles outbreak and coverage data
- Support the ministry by analyzing the surveillance data and providing feedback for timely response and actions
- Liase the ministry with EPHI for surveillance data use and intervention
- Conduct routine measles vaccination DHIS2 data analysis, monitor the coverage trends and give regular feedbacks, evidence-based data for decision making
- Monitor facilities which do not give the measles second dose vaccination (MCV2).
