Overall Purpose Of The Role: Reporting to the Chief of Party (COP), the Country Project Lead (CPL) is responsible for achievement of the project’s intended results in their country of responsibility and that the country response is effective and agile. The CPL will play a key role in ensuring project coherence and integrated visions, reinforcing project governance and working collaboratively with senior DRC staff to develop timely solutions and adaptation. S/he will serve as the country focal point for responsible for risk management of the programme as well ensuring robust and meaningful programme learning and adaptation is embedded.

Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant field

- Demonstrated experience working with displaced populations in an emergency setting as well as experience managing large-scale projects;
- Strong project management experience, including resource management, work planning, implementation oversight and periodic review, and compliance management;
- Expertise and experience in emergency and/or humanitarian aid programming;
