GGGI Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose:
- Develop and implement GGGI Ethiopia Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing Program
- Identify capacity building gaps, prepare and lead the capacity building workshops to be organized at federal, regional and district (woreda) level .
- Lead the development of knowledge management strategy, outreach campaigns and activities to raise the GGGI profile at the national and international levels. Conduct research , compile and provide climate information across key sectors to the relevant stakeholders in the implementation of NAP-ETH;
- Establish climate change adaptation database and online platform with latest and quality climate information, in close coordination with key data collectors

Qualification:
- A Master’s degree in relevant fields such as climate science, Geographic Information System (GIS), Information Communication Technology , Climate Science, natural resources management, or related field; A Bachelor’s Degree with a combination of 2 years of relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s Degree.
Experience
- Preferably 5 years of relevant work experience in managing capacity building outreach of climate change adaption and mitigation projects/programs ;
- Demonstrated experience in developing robust data base on climate change information ;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with government and non governmental organization engaged in the implementation of Climate Resilient Green Economy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to work as a part of a team, sharing information and coordinating efforts within the team;
- Knowledge of national and subnational governance structures and networks;
