GGGI Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: The role of the IT Assistant is to effectively setup and maintain the computer and network Systems of the GGGI Ethiopia, Addis Ababa which include troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, and assisting employees with IT related problems, fully meeting the established institutional policies, implementation, and other operational functions. Additionally, in consultation with the National Adaptation Planning (NAP) Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness project team, the IT Assistant is required to support update of the website and knowledge management database of the National Designated Authority.

Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ICT or relevant disciplines. A Master’s Degree is an advantage.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of proven work experience in IT support or IT Technician Roles
- Proficient in networking configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance experience
- Proficient in IT fundamentals such as computer hardware, operating systems, networking, security, troubleshooting and programming
- Proficient with the use of command-line interface for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and UNIX
- Well experienced in virtual networking solutions
- Skilled at identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues that affect the operation of the Organization’s IT infrastructure
- Practical experience with internet and network security protocols
- Relevant experience in website development and administration.
